Evidence before inference

Lunar Intelligence.
Evidence Engineered.

Adatrys Lunar transforms fragmented planetary datasets into structured, traceable and decision-ready intelligence.

Methodology

Evidence before inference

Adatrys Lunar does not simply generate conclusions. It acquires evidence, processes it, establishes provenance, measures confidence, identifies uncertainty, combines independent streams, and produces auditable assessments.

1

Data

Acquire mission, sensor and scientific datasets from authoritative sources.

2

Processing

Normalise, transform and spatially align evidence.

3

Evidence

Preserve source, lineage, geometry and provenance.

4

Corroboration

Compare independent evidence streams.

5

Assessment

Measure confidence, completeness and spatial support.

6

Intelligence

Turn complex planetary evidence into information that can support real decisions.

DATA → INTELLIGENCE

Every stage is traceable. Every assessment can be interrogated back to its source data.

Multi-Source Intelligence

No single dataset tells the whole story

Adatrys Lunar combines independent evidence streams to build a more complete picture. Each stream is clearly typed — observed data, derived metric, interpreted evidence, modelled output, or assessment.

Observed Data

Optical Intelligence

Terrain, albedo, spectral characteristics and derived indices from imaging instruments.

Observed Data

Radar Intelligence

Surface structure and radar response revealing subsurface and roughness characteristics.

Observed Data

Neutron / Hydrogen-Related Evidence

Neutron suppression measurements providing evidence relevant to hydrogen abundance. Neutron suppression does not itself constitute confirmation of extractable water ice.

Derived Metric

Terrain Intelligence

Slope, elevation, illumination, accessibility and surface morphology derived from topographic data.

Observed Data

Thermal Intelligence

Temperature behaviour and environmental conditions influencing surface and subsurface processes.

Interpreted Evidence

Geological Intelligence

Mapped geological context, surface units and stratigraphic relationships.

Assessment

Mission Intelligence

Environmental conditions combined with mission or operational requirements to assess feasibility.

Clear distinctions

Observed Data
Derived Metric
Interpreted Evidence
Modelled Output
Assessment

The system clearly distinguishes what was observed, what was derived, what was interpreted, what was modelled, and what was assessed.

Evidence Confidence

Not all evidence is equal

Adatrys Lunar does not imply certainty where scientific evidence remains incomplete. Confidence, completeness, spatial support, provenance and maturity are each measured and reported.

Evidence Confidence

How strongly available evidence supports a given assessment. Confidence reflects the quality, consistency and strength of the underlying evidence, not the certainty of a conclusion.

Evidence Completeness

Whether the necessary evidence streams are present. An assessment may be well-supported by available evidence yet still limited by missing streams that have not yet been acquired.

Spatial Support

How well evidence physically overlaps the area being assessed. Evidence that supports a broad region may not directly support a specific site within it.

Provenance

Exactly where each piece of evidence came from. Every evidence object retains its source mission, instrument, processing chain and version history.

Assessment Maturity

The level of support behind an assessment, classified as Preliminary, Provisional or Substantiated based on the volume, quality and corroboration of underlying evidence.

Assessment Maturity Levels

1
Preliminary

Initial assessment based on limited or partially relevant evidence. Suitable for early-stage screening but not operational decisions.

2
Provisional

Assessment supported by multiple evidence streams with reasonable spatial support. Appropriate for comparative analysis and planning.

3
Substantiated

Assessment supported by corroborated evidence across relevant streams with strong spatial support and traceable provenance.
